The menu begins with a selection of artisan breads and cornbread, accompanied by a regional spread full of Portuguese flavours, including cured meats, ham, pickles, mini rojões, codfish cakes and vegetable samosas. From the sea come delicacies such as Aveiro oysters, boiled prawns and mussels in a light aromatic sauce, alongside a variety of fresh salads and the traditional caldo verde with chouriço from the Beiras.
From the grill arrive classic favourites like sardines from our coast, pork belly, pork steaks and veal entrecôte, served with a range of sides including potatoes, roasted peppers, sautéed greens and linguini with ratatouille. The meal ends with a generous selection of traditional desserts and Portuguese cheeses, accompanied by sparkling wine, selected wines, Port wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee.
Fireworks and celebrations
After dinner, you’re invited to join the São João street party and enjoy the magnificent fireworks display from WOW’s Central Square, with stunning views over the city of Porto, the Douro River and the Luís I Bridge.
Then stay with us into the early hours, with plenty of music, dancing and entertainment — surrounded by friends, family and the joyful spirit of São João. The celebration goes on until 4am, making this one of the most vibrant nights of the year.
