Try the francesinha with Port wine sauce

This is the traditional Portuguese gastronomic restaurant. Find the most comforting and typical dishes: which obviously includes the best francesinha, in the traditional and vegetarian version. In each dish, the flavors of a Sunday lunch, which call for a full table, full of family and friends. Furthermore, you can eat inside the rafts, in a cozy room, or on the terrace with an intimate view of Porto.

A Name with History

The restaurant's name is a tribute to wine and to the history of the building, which was owned by the Thomson & Croft families. This was once the Croft cellars, which is why we've kept the traditional layout of the building and the vats inside.

An intimate terrace

T&C is set on the ground floor of an old stone house whose façade has been carefully preserved. It boasts a cosy, intimate terrace beside a centuries-old fountain, offering a charming bucolic atmosphere right in the historic centre, with views of the winding Luís I Bridge.

In this restaurant you have the opportunity to eat inside one of these huge containers, making your meal an unforgettable experience. VAT’s are authentic works of art by coopers, used for ageing Port wine.
